Quang Tri - The 2026 Lunar New Year bonus in the province recorded the highest amount of 170 million VND, but there is still a large gap between businesses.

On December 29, the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Tri province said that through reviewing and synthesizing reports from units, the salary, bonus and labor relations situation in enterprises in the province in 2025 is basically stable, no unpaid wages have arisen, however, the 2026 Tet bonus level between enterprises still has a notable difference.

For the 2026 Lunar New Year bonus, the average bonus is expected to reach 1.55 million VND/person. The highest was up to 37.5 million VND, while the lowest was only 100,000 VND. Compared to 2024 in the two old provinces of Quang Binh and Quang Tri, the highest bonus decreased by 4.4 million VND, the lowest remained unchanged.

Notably, at the time of reporting, there were still some enterprises that had not developed a Tet bonus plan, mainly in the private enterprise sector.

For the Lunar New Year 2026, the average bonus is expected to reach 5.64 million VND/person. The highest was recorded at 170 million VND, the lowest was 200,000 VND. Compared to 2024 in the two old provinces, the highest bonus increased by 50.2 million VND, while the lowest remained unchanged.

According to statistics, private enterprises continue to be the area with the widest Tet bonus range, reflecting a clear differentiation in production efficiency, business and labor preferential policies.

Also according to the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Tri province, at the time of reporting, the whole province had not recorded enterprises owing wages to workers; labor relations in 2025 were generally stable, without any collective labor disputes or strikes.
