Training on the Law on Social Insurance, the Law on Employment for Enterprises

Nearly 200 enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City participated in the training session on new points of the Law on Social Insurance and the Law on Employment organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Ho Chi Minh City on September 27.

Speaking at the training session, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Cao Huy said that in reality, compliance with labor laws and social insurance in many places is still limited. A part of workers do not fully grasp their rights and obligations, some employers do not fully comply with legal regulations, and debt and evasion of social insurance payment still occur...

That requires propaganda, dissemination, raising awareness and responsibility of both employees and employers to be promoted and innovated in methods.

At the training session, businesses listened to officials from the Legal Department and the Ministry of Home Affairs share new points in the Law on Social Insurance 2024 (effective from July 1, 2025), the Law on Employment 2025 (effective from January 1, 2026), Decree 219/2025/ND-CP regulating foreign workers working in Vietnam and notes when implementing labor laws on labor contracts, wages, working hours - rest hours, labor discipline - material responsibility.

At the same time, legal officers of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the social insurance sector discussed and answered questions about difficulties in implementing legal regulations on labor, employment, and social insurance.
