Strengthening specialized inspection of compliance with social insurance laws

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just sent an official dispatch to departments, branches, sectors, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance and People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones on continuing to strengthen leadership and direction in implementing social insurance and health insurance policies in the city.

Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to advise on policies and mechanisms to support voluntary social insurance contributions to increase social insurance coverage, and effectively implement state management of social insurance and unemployment insurance policies according to the provisions of law.

At the same time, strengthen inspection and propose solutions to strengthen management of labor supply units and labor leasing units to ensure that enterprises operating in this field strictly and fully implement labor regulations.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also requested the quarterly social insurance agency to closely coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and Taxation of Ho Chi Minh City to provide information and review the number of enterprises that have not participated in social insurance in the area, as a basis for the social insurance agency to coordinate with relevant departments and branches to organize work, make inspection records, and require enterprises to participate in social insurance, health insurance, and full unemployment insurance for employees.

At the same time, organize the full and timely management and resolution of social insurance and health insurance policies, ensure the rights of the people, strengthen specialized inspections of compliance with the law on social insurance and health insurance at units, employers, and medical facilities to promptly detect, prevent, and handle violations according to the law.
