Factory in Vinh Long bustling with workers returning on New Year's Day

In the first days of the year, the working atmosphere in industrial zones and clusters in Vinh Long province is urgent. Workers return to the production line with a ready mindset, businesses proactively plan to ensure order progress.

At Mega Surplus Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd., Mr. Truong Hoang Huynh - Chairman of the grassroots trade union - said that on the first working day, 1,050/1,150 workers were present. According to Mr. Huynh, the labor force is basically stable.

Before Tet, the Trade Union coordinated with the board of directors to propagate and remind work schedules so that workers can proactively arrange time. The brothers and sisters go to work on schedule, the spirit is quite excited," Mr. Huynh said.

According to Mr. Huynh, the enterprise has prepared a production plan and source of raw and auxiliary materials early. The full return of workers helps the production line quickly operate normally from the beginning of the year.

At Ty Bach Co., Ltd. (Binh Minh Industrial Park), Ms. Lam Thi Ngoc Ha - Chairwoman of the Grassroots Trade Union said that on the first day of the year, 9,677/9,821 workers returned to work.

Most of the brothers and sisters returned on time, the rest have asked for permission for family matters. The Trade Union has strengthened information through social networks, internal contact groups to remind work schedules. With proactive connection, helping workers feel secure to return early," Ms. Ha added.

At KYUNGSHIN VIETNAM Co., Ltd., representatives of the grassroots Trade Union said that 1,524/1,553 workers returned to the factory on the first day of the year. According to the unit, production activities are stable.

The atmosphere in the workshops recorded concentration, urgency but ensured labor safety. Many workers said they had quickly stabilized their lives to catch up with work.

Ms. Tran Cam Tu - a worker at Ty Bach Co., Ltd. - said that she is excited to return to the factory after Tet. In the new year, she hopes the company will have more orders to work overtime and increase income.

During the recent Tet holiday, the Trade Union and the company took care of everything from the 13th month salary and bonus to Tet gifts, organized year-end meals, and cultural performances to create a warm atmosphere. Thanks to that, we are even more assured and attached," Ms. Tu shared.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang - a worker at Mega Surplus Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd. - said that he returned to work with a ready mindset, setting a goal to improve his skills in the new year.

According to Mr. Hoang, the Trade Union's concern during Tet is a great motivation for workers. "From Tet bonuses, gifts, to the Year-end meal, everything is organized thoughtfully, the brothers are very excited," Mr. Hoang added.

With the proactiveness of businesses and the companionship of the Trade Union, many factories in Vinh Long have quickly caught up with production. The joyful spirit of workers is expected to create a favorable foundation for the new working year.
