A business spends 650 million VND to support workers when gasoline prices increase
Ha Tinh - High gasoline prices, Haivina Hong Linh Co., Ltd. has spent 650 million VND to support gasoline costs for more than 1,300 workers to help them reduce difficulties.
On March 19, information from Haivina Hong Linh Co., Ltd. said that realizing the pressure from the high increase in gasoline prices, company leaders decided to spend a special support fund worth 500,000 VND/person for more than 1,300 officials and employees throughout the company.
Haivina Hong Linh Co., Ltd. has about 90% of workers using personal vehicles to go to work (10% of workers are arranged for car pick-up and drop-off).
Currently, this enterprise is maintaining a policy of supporting gasoline money at a level of 330,000 VND/person/month for workers traveling by personal vehicles.
However, in recent days, due to the high increase in gasoline prices, the leaders of Haivina Hong Linh Co., Ltd. realized that the support of 330,000 VND/person/month did not meet the actual costs. Therefore, the company has provided unexpected support of 500,000 VND/person to promptly reduce difficulties for workers.
A worker shared: "Faced with the situation of rising gasoline prices and increasing travel costs, when I received a support amount of 500,000 VND from the company, I was very excited. This is a source of encouragement for us to feel secure in our work and try harder in labor production.
Haivina Hong Linh Co., Ltd. is located in Nam Hong industrial cluster in Nam Hong Linh ward, operating in the garment sector. Currently, this enterprise is also increasing labor recruitment.
