Bac Giang and Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor discuss the work of arranging the organization and apparatus when merging

The conference held in Bac Giang was attended by members of the Standing Committees of the Labor Federations of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces; representatives of the leaders of specialized departments, affiliated units and related departments.

At the Conference, the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Labor Union of Bac Giang Province presented the draft project of organizing the organizational structure of the Labor Union of Bac Giang Province and the Labor Union of Bac Ninh Province.

Regarding the plan to arrange and establish the (new) Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation on the basis of merging the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation and the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.

After the arrangement, at the provincial level, the Labor Union of Bac Ninh Province (new) reduced the number from 10 committees as at present (each provincial Labor Union has 5 committees and equivalent) to 2 committees, including the Trade Union Working Committee and the Trade Union of Industrial Zone; Dissolution of the Labor Union of districts, cities, towns, trade unions, provincial trade unions, trade unions of provincial industrial parks, trade unions of provincial Party agencies, trade unions of provincial People's Committee agencies (collectively referred to as direct superior trade unions); Implementing the plan to arrange trade unions of wards and communes (if any) under the direction of the Central Government; Keeping public non -business public under the Labor Federation of Bac Giang province. The draft also determines the plan of arranging and arranging specialized trade union officials suitable for each specific board and unit.

Speaking at the conference, delegates basically agreed with the content of the draft Project and focused on discussing key contents such as: Current status of the organizational apparatus; organizational model after the merger; plan for arranging and assigning cadres; plan to merge professional departments and public service units of trade unions.

The opinions expressed all demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, consensus on policies, consensus on solutions, ensuring the merger took place on schedule and maintained stability among the full-time union staff of the two provinces.

Comrade Nguyen Van Canh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized: "Relading and reorganizing the apparatus of the Labor Federations of the two provinces is not only an inevitable requirement according to the administrative merger roadmap, but also an opportunity to streamline, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, and better serve union members and workers".

The merger of the organization of Trade Union of two provinces of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang shows the determination to renovate and improve the quality of trade union activities in the new period, request the organizers to inspect the two provinces to absorb the discussion opinions of the delegates to complete the project and submit to the competent authority for approval.
