Industrial labor in Khanh Hoa increases by more than 8%

On March 6, information from the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province said that the labor use index at industrial enterprises in February 2026 increased by 0.33% compared to the previous month and increased by 8.52% compared to the same period in 2025.

In which, the mining industry increased by 0.15% compared to the previous month and increased by 4.28% compared to the same period; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 0.38% and increased by 9.43% compared to the same period in 2025.

The electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning production and distribution industry alone decreased by 0.15% compared to the previous month but still increased by 2.53% compared to the same period. The water supply, waste and wastewater treatment industry increased by 0.04% and increased by 1.9%.

In general, in the first 2 months of 2026, the labor use index of industrial enterprises increased by 8.86% compared to the same period last year.

According to the economic sector, the index of industrial labor use of state-owned enterprises increased by 0.31%, foreign-invested enterprises increased by 33.89%; while non-state-owned enterprises decreased by 4.48%.

In 2026, Khanh Hoa province set a target of GRDP increasing by 10-11%, GRDP per capita increasing by more than 12%, labor productivity increasing by 9.8%. Total development investment capital increased by 20% compared to 2025, and state budget revenue increased by at least 12%.
