Proposal for Da Nang Trade Union to increase the lending limit of the Capital Support Fund to 50 million VND
Da Nang - Workers recommend that the Da Nang Trade Union increase the loan limit for the Capital Support Fund from 30 million VND/case to 50 million VND/case.
Pay more attention to leadership and direction
Many comments from union members and workers at grassroots unions managed by the Lien Chieu Ward Union, Da Nang City were sent to the 1st Lien Chieu Ward Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, held on October 19.
At first, a group of opinions was sent to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the People's Council and the People's Committee of Lien Chieu Ward.
Union members and workers believe that during the implementation of the two-level government according to the Central Government's policy, the Ward Union always receives timely and close leadership and direction from the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee.
However, the Commune and Ward Trade Unions are a very new model of the Vietnam Trade Union organization. The ward union has both researched and implemented tasks in accordance with local realities, implemented and learned from experience to perfect the way of operation, meeting the increasingly high requirements of union members and workers in the area.
Therefore, it is hoped that the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee will continue to pay more attention to the leadership and direction of the Ward Trade Union in the coming time.
Lien Chieu Ward is an area with many industrial parks, with a large number of workers living and working.
Therefore, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee need to direct Party committees, authorities, and functional agencies to actively coordinate with the Trade Union organization in propaganda and mobilization work for businesses, private schools, and independent groups of children to comply with the provisions of law.
This contributes to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in wards and industrial parks, while minimizing labor disputes.
In order for the Trade Union to continue to perform well its function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, it is recommended that the Ward People's Committee pay attention to supporting and coordinating with the Ward Trade Union in approaching and mobilizing the establishment of grassroots trade unions in enterprises, private schools, and independent youth groups.
At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen inspection, examination and supervision of the implementation of regimes and policies related to workers, especially in areas such as employment, social insurance, health insurance, occupational safety and hygiene, etc.
Planning housing, kindergartens, and playgrounds
For the Da Nang City Labor Federation and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, workers in Lien Chieu Ward recommended: The City Labor Federation needs to continue to make consistent proposals to the city leaders in planning industrial parks, industrial clusters, high-tech zones, ensuring housing, kindergartens, playgrounds, supermarkets and Trade Union institutions.
At the same time, it is necessary to review and adjust the planning in existing industrial parks, industrial clusters, and high-tech zones that do not have land for trade union institutions, housing, and kindergartens for children of union members and workers. In addition, it is proposed to develop policies on preferential loan packages to help union members and workers have the opportunity to buy social housing and workers' housing.
The Da Nang City Labor Federation also needs to study and invest more resources to diversify "Welfare for Union Members" programs with more essential and practical services to attract union members and workers to stick together and actively participate in the activities of the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
The Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation should consider raising the loan limit from the "City Poor Workers, Civil Servants and Workers' Capital Support Fund" from 30 million VND/case to 50 million VND/case, in order to meet the increasing needs of union members and workers.
Finally, it is recommended that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor soon issue Regulations on the functions, tasks and activities of ward and commune trade unions, so that the team of trade union officials can work with peace of mind, operate stably and methodically in the coming time.
