Helping workers understand social insurance benefits carefully to work with peace of mind
Binh Thuan - Workers in industrial parks were organized a dialogue by the union in coordination with the Provincial Social Insurance, answering questions about social insurance.
On May 19, Mr. Tran Duy Thanh - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Binh Thuan province - said that he will coordinate with the Social Insurance (SI) of Binh Thuan province to organize propaganda, answers, and consultation on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies for workers in industrial parks. This is a practical activity during Workers' Month 2025.
In previous years, the program was organized for workers in Ham Kiem Industrial Park and received attention and questions, many of which were answered satisfactorily.
In 2025, the program will be held at the grassroots union of Trans Pacific Seafood Processing Company Limited located in Phan Thiet Industrial Park.
Recently, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance have been of concern to workers such as receiving unemployment insurance when quitting work, maternity benefits, death benefits, etc., issues of health insurance examination and treatment, etc., but they do not know where to ask.
According to Binh Thuan Social Insurance, this is an opportunity for employees and employers at enterprises and industrial parks to fully grasp policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and legal rights and interests of employees.
At the program, workers with questions will be answered by representatives of the Social Insurance departments of Binh Thuan province. From there, workers will feel more secure to work and ensure their rights when participating in social insurance. This is also a form of diversifying content and propaganda on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies.
