Enterprises in Binh Duong are producing from May 2, many factories are recruiting workers

On May 1, many workers from the Western, Central Highlands and Central provinces returned to Binh Duong. On Huynh Van Cu route connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Binh Duong, the flow of workers riding motorbikes has begun to return to Binh Duong.

This holiday, workers in factories have 2 days off. According to the plan, businesses will return to normal production from May 2.

A representative of A.C Wood Company Limited (Khanh Binh Ward, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province) said that the company produces wood doors for export to the US. Due to the nature of the order, the company arranged for employees to have 2 days off according to regulations.

The company did not organize a compensatory holiday, because this week there are two working days, Friday and Saturday. The company is planning to work overtime on Sunday to keep up with orders, so tomorrow (May 2), it will resume normal operations.

The Trade Union of Kim Xuong Shoes Company Limited (Dai Dang Industrial Park, Thu Dau Mot City) said that the company will have two days off according to regulations. Tomorrow, the enterprise will resume production.

According to records, during this holiday, the majority of workers stayed in Binh Duong. Due to short holidays, workers do not travel far, taking time to rest to return to work.

Lam Truong (working in a wooden furniture manufacturing company in Khanh Binh ward, Tan Uyen city) shared: "I have 2 days off for this holiday. On April 30, I went to see a parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Today, I played near Binh Duong to rest. Tomorrow, the company will produce, we will return to work as usual".

According to the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor, most businesses in the area celebrate a 2-day holiday. Due to the situation of orders, or production plans, 54 enterprises organized production during the holiday with about 12,000 employees.

Binh Duong is an industrial developed province, with 28 industrial parks and 10 industrial clusters in operation.

According to records, many businesses are still hanging labor recruitment signs. The Trade Union of Kim Xuong Shoes Company Limited said that after the ceremony, the enterprise continued to recruit sewing workers.

MoToMotion Vietnam Co., Ltd. (producing sofas and furniture) is recruiting a large number of workers in 2025 and continuously recruiting workers.

According to the forecast of the Binh Duong Provincial Employment Service Center, the labor market will recover positively in the second quarter of 2025. Many businesses continue to have a need for recruitment.
