Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province conducted a survey and sent survey forms to 320 enterprises, with a total of 17,710 employees.
For state-owned companies and 100% state-owned single-member LLCs with the People's Committee of Lao Cai province as the representative owner, the highest salary is 45 million VND (Yen Bai Lottery State-owned One Member Co., Ltd.).

For central state-owned enterprises located in the locality, the highest salary is 63.5 million VND (Bank for Industry and Trade Joint Stock Commercial Bank - Lao Cai Branch); the average salary is 24.1 million VND.
The highest Lunar New Year bonus of 5 million VND and the highest Lunar New Year bonus (expected) of 63.5 million VND both belong to Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development - Lao Cai Branch.

According to the assessment of the Department of Home Affairs, the average salary of employees working under labor contracts at enterprises in Lao Cai province in 2025 tends to increase compared to 2024. Specifically:
The average salary of employees working in state-owned enterprises is 9 million VND/person/month (an increase of 18.4% compared to 2024).
The average salary of employees working in foreign-invested enterprises is 10.1 million VND/person/month (an increase of 25% compared to 2024).
The average salary of employees working in private enterprises is 9.35 million VND/person/month (an increase of 23% compared to 2024).
The increase in average wages of enterprises shows the recovery of the economy and the need for human resources in the competitive trend of the labor market.
However, the increase is not uniform among enterprises, with large-scale enterprises and the processing industry having clearer salary increases and income than small and medium enterprises.
