Da Nang will reduce 30,409 union members after the reorganization
Da Nang - Mr. Le Van Dai - Permanent Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said that the city will reduce 30,409 union members after the union organization arrangement.
On the afternoon of June 3, the Hai Chau District Labor Federation (Da Nang) held a conference to summarize the work of the trade union in the 2024-2025 school year and deploy the organizational arrangement in the spirit of Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW.
The conference aims to summarize and evaluate the results of trade union work in the 2024-2025 school year, reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement and trade union activities in the 2024-2025 school year; deploy the organizational arrangement in the spirit of Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Vice President of the Hai Chau District Labor Federation - informed that as of May 31, 2025, the Hai Chau District Labor Federation manages 60 grassroots unions, 15 grassroots unions with 2,941 union members/3,049 cadres, teachers, and workers.
The team of teachers and staff have met the assigned educational tasks.
The District Labor Federation has compiled and proposed that the City Labor Federation recognize 119 agencies, units, and enterprises that meet cultural standards for 2 consecutive years in 2023-2024, including 54 school units.
Propose to commend 5 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements in 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on "promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", including 4 collectives and 6 individuals in the school sector.
Also at the Conference, Mr. Le Van Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of Da Nang Labor Union said that in the trend of arranging the central apparatus, the Trade Union organization also followed the direction and organization of the apparatus.
Before the policy was issued, the trade union organization also reduced units, rearranged public service units, economies, and guesthouses.
According to the request of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, by June 15, the operations of central budget units receiving 100% salary from the State budget must be ended. For Da Nang City, when the operation ends, it will also reduce about 30,409 union members of the city's departments, branches, sectors, public service units, schools, etc.
