Policy to support part-time commune-level cadres who quit their jobs due to current arrangement
The current policy to support part-time commune-level cadres on leave is implemented according to Decree 29/2023/ND-CP.
Clause 3, Article 2 of Decree 29/2023/ND-CP stipulates as follows:

3. Non-professional workers at the commune level who are redundant due to the arrangement of commune-level administrative units and non-professional workers in villages and residential groups who are redundant due to the arrangement of villages and residential groups when arranging commune-level administrative units will retire within 12 months from the date of the arrangement decision of the competent authority.
Thus, up to now, non-professional cadres at the commune level who quit their jobs due to the arrangement of administrative units are still subject to the staff streamlining policy according to the provisions of Decree 29/2023/ND-CP.
The current policy to support part-time commune-level cadres on leave is being implemented according to the provisions of Decree 29/2023/ND-CP.
Recently, the Minister of Home Affairs requested the urgent development of a Decree on regimes and policies to support part-time workers at the commune level to submit to the Government, no later than May 30, 2025.
