Warning about impersonating a service to integrate citizen identification cards into social insurance records with fees
HCMC - Many cases of impersonating social insurance agencies (SI) support the integration of citizen identification cards (CCCD) into social insurance records and have fees collected.
On August 1, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance issued a warning about impersonating a social insurance agency to book a meeting with a social insurance agency and supported the integration of citizen identification cards into online social insurance records according to Decree No. 158/2025/ND-CP and collected fees.
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance said that all of these procedures are completely free and easy to perform on the Public Service Portal of Vietnam Social Insurance or the Digital Social Insurance (VssID) application.
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance affirms that it does not authorize any organization or individual to provide intermediary services in booking work appointments or requiring pensioners or people to update their CCCDs via phone, text messages, Zalo or links to serve their work.
When there is a need to update or adjust personal information related to social insurance, participants need to directly contact the local social insurance agency for accurate support, or do so through the official information channels of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance. At the same time, participants need to be vigilant and absolutely do not provide any personal information via text messages, emails or strange calls, emphasized Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance.
