Social insurance informs about how to calculate the sick leave allowance

Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance said that Clause 5, Article 45 of the Law on Social Insurance 2024 stipulates: The daily sickness allowance is calculated by dividing the monthly sickness allowance by 24 days.

The sickness allowance for half a day is calculated as half of the sickness allowance for one day.

According to Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance, when calculating the sickness allowance for employees on sick leave for less than a full day, a day off for less than half a day is counted as half a day, from half a day to less than a day is counted as one day.
