The salary table for high school teachers is expected to be applied from 2026

According to Article 4 of the draft Decree on teachers' salaries, it is proposed to stipulate the salary coefficient and the special salary coefficient for teachers. Accordingly, teachers are paid according to the administrative career salary scale and are entitled to a special salary coefficient corresponding to their position.

In particular, the salary coefficient table for high school teachers proposed to be applied from 2026 is as follows:

Special salary coefficient: 1.1

Senior high school teachers

Special salary coefficient: 1.25

High school teachers

Special salary coefficient: 1.45

Note, the salary table does not include the coefficient of position allowance + seniority allowance beyond the framework + reserve difference (if any).
