Establishing 91 self-managed worker dormitories in Dong Thap
Dong Thap - The whole province has established 91 self-managed worker dormitories with 8,272 workers and laborers.
On January 5, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor announced that in 2025, it had established 3 self-managed worker dormitories with 102 rooms, over 120 workers and laborers. Thereby, the total number of self-managed workers' dormitories in the province will increase to 91 with 8,272 workers and laborers.

With the determination to help union members and workers have stable housing in boarding houses and connecting spaces, improving the cultural, spiritual, legal and life skills of workers, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor has organized many practical and effective support activities, notably coordinating with local Party committees, authorities and unions to establish 63 mediation groups with 365 members.

In addition, gifts were given to union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances. In particular, in 2025, at the launching ceremony, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor will also award each worker dormitory with 1 set of seats (30 seats), 1 mobile loudspeaker... Thereby creating more favorable conditions for each worker dormitory to organize activities, promptly inform and propagate to workers about the basic contents of labor law, trade unions on security and order, traffic safety, prevention of social evils, tricks and developments of crimes, etc. Thereby contributing to raising awareness, understanding of the law, awareness of fighting, preventing crimes, ensuring security and order in the locality.
