In a small rented room in Hoa Khanh ward, Ms. Tran Thi Hoa (a single female worker, raising a young child) quietly calculates the meager salary left over after a year of successive storms and floods.

During the Binh Ngo Tet 2026, the VGCL coordinated with Party, State, National Assembly and Vietnam Fatherland Front leaders to visit and wish Tet to Da Nang workers with a scale of: 950 gifts, total value of more than 1.5 billion VND.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that taking care of Tet for workers and laborers is not only about giving material gifts, but more importantly, timely sharing and encouragement so that workers can feel secure and stick to their work. "The Trade Union always tries to make sure that no one is left behind, especially workers in difficult circumstances who have to celebrate Tet away from home," Mr. Xuan emphasized.

Mr. Le Van Nam, a worker from the northern mountainous region, said: "This year my hometown is far away, the train and bus fare is expensive, so I stayed. Being invited by the Trade Union to have a year-end meal, and having gifts to bring home, we workers in the rented room were very touched.

The spread of the spirit of Tet care is also spreading to businesses in the area. At Sedo Vinako Co., Ltd. (Duy Xuyen), the atmosphere in the last days of the year is busier than ever. Although orders sometimes fluctuate due to economic impacts, the Trade Union and company leaders are still determined to protect the rights of more than 5,000 union members.

Ms. Tran Thu Trang, a worker attached to the company for more than 5 years, excitedly said: "This year, the company still maintains Tet bonuses and gives gifts in two installments worth nearly 2 billion VND. In addition, anyone who is sick or has special circumstances will be supported by the Trade Union to their place. Having this support, we only know to tell each other to work really well to stick together for a long time.

Amidst the busyness after a year of turmoil, the practical concern of all levels of government and trade union organizations has turned worries into smiles, helping the Binh Ngo 2026 spring of each worker become more complete and warmer than ever.
