Social housing realizes the dream of settling down for Dak Lak workers
Dak Lak - The synchronization and effective implementation of social housing projects for workers will create momentum for the province's socio-economic development in the future.
On January 4, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Construction said that in 2026, the locality plans to build 3,900 social housing units for low-income workers. In the 2025-2030 period, the whole province strives to build more than 38,000 apartments.
In 2025 alone, Dak Lak will complete and start construction of a total of 2,255 social housing units. Of which, 1,348 units have been completed and 907 new units have been started.
Currently, many social housing projects in the area are eligible for sale, including: Km7 Urban Area and Ha Huy Tap Residential Area (Tan An Ward); Suoi Xanh Coffee Cultural and Cultural Ecological Urban Area - Hotel - Housing Complex (Buon Ma Thuot Ward).
At the end of December 2025, Ecopark Hai Duong Investment Joint Stock Company started construction of two social housing buildings under the EcoPalace Buon Ma Thuot Project (No. 02 Mai Hac De, Buon Ma Thuot Ward).
The project consists of two 5-storey buildings with a scale of 158 apartments, designed synchronously, ensuring technical standards and living environment quality, contributing to meeting the housing needs of low-income people.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Anh (residing in Tan An ward) said that after more than 8 years of saving, his family has accumulated about 400 million VND and hopes to be able to buy social housing in the period of 2026-2027 to stabilize their housing.
Mr. Le Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Dak Lak province - said that after implementing the 2-level government model and merging provinces, the department has synchronized many solutions to attract investment, speeding up the progress of social housing projects.
Planning, investor selection and construction locations are required to comply with urban planning, land use and essential infrastructure such as transportation, electricity, water, schools, and healthcare. Thanks to that, the basic projects ensure progress, the goal of building more than 38,000 apartments in the coming period is assessed as feasible.
According to Mr. Le Hung, From an economic perspective, the development of social housing projects also helps the province complete the "double target". In particular, concretizing the dream for low-income workers and contributing to the socio-economic growth of the province at a "double-digit" level.
At the same time, this is also a solution to contribute to limiting phase difference and real estate speculation, increasing long-term stability for the market. Thereby, affirming the management and implementation capacity of local governments.
Social housing projects also create growth momentum for many related sectors such as construction, construction materials, transportation - technical infrastructure, electricity - water - telecommunications, education, healthcare and urban services, thereby contributing to expanding the urban economic value chain.
