Starting construction of 1,445 billion VND social housing project in Khanh Hoa

On the morning of January 9, a groundbreaking ceremony for the Hung Phu 2 Social Housing Project took place in Khanh Hoa, with a total investment of more than 1,445 billion VND, to meet the housing needs of workers, laborers and low-income people in the area.

The project is built on a land area of 6,895 m2, with a scale of 30 floors above ground and 1 basement, providing 1,062 apartments.

Of which, 80% are social housing apartments, the rest are arranged with service and utility items to ensure living conditions for residents.

According to the investor, the Hung Phu 2 Social Housing Project is planned synchronously with many utilities such as: Commercial center, kindergarten, supermarket, community activity area, park and sports area, aiming to build a modern social housing area with full technical infrastructure and social infrastructure.

The project is located in a residential area in the North of Nha Trang, near Vinh Hai market, Ponagar Tower, about 800 meters from the coast of Nha Trang Bay and Hon Chong scenic spot.

This area has the ability to facilitate traffic connection through the 2/4 road axis (National Highway 1C), Xom Bong bridge and the bus station in the North of Nha Trang, making it easy for people to move to the center and neighboring localities.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Lam Dong - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council said that this is not only an event of economic and constructive significance, but also a milestone of profound humanistic value, demonstrating the responsibility of the government and the business community towards the lives of people, especially vulnerable groups in society.

According to Mr. Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa is entering a new stage of development, with the goal of becoming a centrally-governed city according to the central resolutions.

This process will lead to a rapid increase in population and labor force, posing an urgent need to develop housing, especially social housing for workers, civil servants and laborers.

Therefore, each social housing project is not just a construction project, but also demonstrates the government's commitment to taking people as the center of the development process.

The Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council emphasized that the Hung Phu 2 Social Housing Project is a project to concretize the Housing Development Program of Khanh Hoa province for the period 2021-2030, which has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee and approved by the Provincial People's Council. In particular, social housing is identified as an important pillar to ensure social security and sustainable development.

The early start of construction and implementation of social housing projects such as Hung Phu 2 is expected to contribute to reducing housing pressure, stabilizing people's lives, and at the same time creating a foundation for the long-term development of the locality.
