At the ceremony, the boarding house owners expressed their joy when coordinating with the Trade Union and the government to deploy the self-managed worker boarding house model, contributing to maintaining order, ensuring safety and improving the quality of life for workers.

On the occasion of the launch of 2 self-managed workers' dormitories, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor presented each group with a set of chairs (30 seats), a mobile loudspeaker, along with 5 gifts and 5 free health check-ups, with a total value of nearly 20 million VND.

In 2025, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor will coordinate with the Tan Huong commune government and landlords to launch 3 self-managed worker boarding houses with the participation of more than 120 workers.

After the launching ceremony of Bay Van and Bay Song self-managed workers' dormitories, the whole Dong Thap province has 90 self-managed workers' groups with 8,225 workers, along with 62 mediation groups with 360 members.

The establishment of self-managed workers' dormitories demonstrates the deep concern of the Trade Union, authorities and boarding house owners for workers - a force that directly contributes to local socio-economic development, while creating conditions for workers to work collectively, learn life skills, improve legal knowledge and connect the community in boarding houses.
