Opening of the final round of the sports festival for workers and civil servants in Thai Nguyen province

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Vu Duy Hoang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province; leaders of departments, agencies, branches and a large number of trade union officials and athletes.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Do Thi Hien - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairwoman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the sports festival is a useful playground, contributing to improving spiritual and cultural life, health training, and strengthening exchanges and solidarity among workers and employees.

At the same time, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031.

This year's final round gathers 26 delegations with 170 outstanding athletes selected from regional sports festivals, competing in volleyball, tug of war and pickleball events.
