242 athletes compete at the TKV 2026 Amateur Volleyball Tournament

Attending the closing ceremony at Duong Huy Coal Company - TKV were comrades: Nguyen Thi Minh - Vice Chairman of TKV Trade Union; Bui Van Ngoi - Deputy Secretary of Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee; Tran Danh Nghi - Head of Propaganda Department of TKV Party Committee; and units participating in the tournament.

The tournament is one of the major cultural and sports activities under the program of the 3rd Group Sports Festival in 2026; practically celebrating the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution, National Day 2/9 and welcoming Quang Ninh becoming a centrally-run city.

The tournament gathers 242 athletes from 16 units in the Group, participating in competitions in three categories: Men's strong team volleyball, men's amateur volleyball and women's soft volleyball.

With the spirit of "Healthy to build Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation for Sustainable Development" and the motto "Solidarity - Honesty - Nobility", the athletes competed determinedly, dedicating many attractive matches, beautiful plays and emotional competitions. Not only is it a race for achievements, the tournament also creates an environment for exchange, learning, improving health and strengthening solidarity and attachment between officials, workers, and employees of units in TKV.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize for strong men's volleyball to Vang Danh Coal Company; the first prize for amateur men's volleyball to Nui Beo Coal Company and the first prize for women's volleyball to Nam Mau Coal Company - TKV.
