The highest Lunar New Year bonus in Hanoi is 614 million VND/person, according to the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs.
On December 31, the Hanoi Department of Home Affairs said that, based on the reports of 3,182 enterprises, the Tet bonus situation in the capital is as follows:
For single-member LLCs with 100% state capital: New Year's Day, the average bonus: VND 1,000,000/person; the enterprise with the highest bonus is VND 15,000,000/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is VND 500,000/person. For the Lunar New Year 2026, the average bonus is: 3,500,000 VND/person; the enterprise with the highest bonus is 103,000,000 VND/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is 800,000 VND/person.
For joint stock companies with controlling capital contributions from the State, on New Year's Day, the average bonus is: VND 1,000,000/person; the enterprise with the highest bonus is VND 18,000,000/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is VND 500,000/person. For the Lunar New Year 2026, the average bonus is: 3,700,000 VND/person; the enterprise with the highest bonus is 45,000,000 VND/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is 800,000 VND/person.
For private enterprises, the average bonus is: 800,000 VND/person; enterprises with the highest bonus is 30,000,000 VND/person; enterprises with the lowest bonus is 600,000 VND/person. For the Lunar New Year 2026, the average bonus is: 4,000,000 VND/person; the enterprise with the highest bonus is 614,000,000 VND/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is 1,000,000 VND/person.
