Vinh Long - The Provincial Federation of Labor was commended by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee for its outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
On August 26, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Vinh Long province solemnly held a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2 organized by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province.
The Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee for its outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor (before the merger), currently Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor - said that in the past time, the Party Committee of the Ben Tre Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented many creative ways, linking learning and working with Uncle Ho in practice.
Typical examples are competitions to learn about Ho Chi Minh's ideology combined with art performances, staged stories about Uncle Ho; emulation movements for good labor, technical innovation initiatives associated with ethical training and lifestyle.
In particular, Uncle Ho's education is also concretized by many models of caring for the lives of union members and workers such as "Union Meal" and "Union Shelter". These activities not only improve material and spiritual life but also contribute to spreading a sense of responsibility and creativity among workers, civil servants and laborers.
"After the decision to establish a Party Department, the Labor Federation will replicate models of studying and following Uncle Ho, especially at the grassroots Trade Union, to improve the effectiveness of caring for union members and workers," Mr. Linh added.
