Nghe An Labor Federation launches emulation movement in 2026
Nghe An - On the afternoon of January 10, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to summarize activities in 2025, evaluate achievements and launch an emulation movement in 2026.

In 2025, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented many practical programs to improve the lives and protect the rights of workers.
With the theme "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party", the Provincial Federation of Labor has organized more than 20 "Tet Sum Vay" programs, supporting nearly 40,000 union members with a total amount of up to 40 billion VND.
These activities have not only helped union members feel the care and concern of the union organization but also created a stable working environment, protecting the rights of workers.
Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor also implemented "Union Meal" programs at 374 grassroots unions, attracting the participation of more than 76,000 workers, with a total cost of up to 3.5 billion VND.

These are practical activities to improve the material and spiritual life of workers, especially in the context of many localities still facing difficulties in income.
In caring for workers, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented many support programs, such as building 33 "Union Shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances, each worth 50 million VND.
Free medical examination, medical consultation and medicine distribution activities for workers in industrial parks are also widely organized, helping them access health care services more easily.
At the conference, delegates gave practical comments on solutions to implement the action program in accordance with the reality of each sector, locality and unit.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, acknowledged the positive innovations of the provincial trade union organization in recent times.
It is recommended that in the coming time, trade unions need to continue to catch up on time, promote the development of union members, train union officials to promptly grasp digital skills, use digital technology in communication, and strengthen the ideology of union members and workers.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province also noted that trade unions need to promote their role in monitoring and criticizing, arousing the strength of creative labor in enterprises, and promptly reward individuals and groups with outstanding achievements.

At the event, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi - former Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, in recognition of her contributions to the cause of building and developing the trade union organization.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor also awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 5 collectives and 18 individuals with outstanding achievements, and at the same time awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor to 27 collectives and 93 other individuals.
To create a vibrant competitive atmosphere in 2026, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has launched an emulation movement among union members and workers, calling on each union cadre to uphold the spirit of responsibility, enthusiasm and creativity in developing union members and operating grassroots unions.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Kha Van Tam, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, acknowledged the professionalism and seriousness of the delegates.
