Da Nang honors 56 enterprises that take good care of workers' lives

56 enterprises implement policies and regimes well

On December 30, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a ceremony to honor and reward 56 enterprises with achievements in the emulation movement "Enterprises care for workers' lives" in 2025.

Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation said that the criteria for enterprises to be honored include: Enterprises honored as enterprises without state capital, non-public public service units, with 20 or more employees, with grassroots unions under the city's trade unions; established and operating under Vietnamese law.

In 2024 and 2025, enterprises must meet the following standards: ensuring jobs; taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers, and the income of workers will increase next year compared to the previous year.

Implement well social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance contributions. Collective labor agreements have provisions that are more beneficial to employees than those under the law.

Implement the signing of labor contracts well; have the construction and implementation of salary scales, salary tables, and labor regulations in accordance with regulations.

Develop and effectively implement the Corporation Democracy Regulations; organize annual Workers' conferences and dialogues at the workplace to ensure quality and time according to regulations; do not let collective work stoppages or complaints occur.

Implement well the work of ensuring food safety and hygiene, occupational safety and hygiene, improving working conditions for workers, protecting the environment; preventing food poisoning, fatal occupational accidents, and fires and explosions that cause damage to people and property.

Implement well the training, fostering, improving skills and professional expertise for workers.

Coordinate with the trade union to organize an emulation movement among workers, encourage and reward workers with achievements in production and work.

Enterprises comply with the regulations of the State and the General Confederation of Labor on trade union finance, fully fulfill their obligations to the State; support and create favorable conditions for grassroots trade unions to operate.

The companionship and respect of the Trade Union

Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh said: the emulation movement "Enterprises take good care of workers' lives" of Da Nang city in 2025 had 82 enterprises responding and submitting proposals for consideration and honor.

The Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation has sent documents to relevant agencies to ask for opinions including: Da Nang City Tax Department, Da Nang City Social Insurance, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Da Nang City Food Safety Management Board, Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks Management Board.

Through the appraisal and comments of the Honoring Council, the selection results showed that 56 enterprises met the honoring standards.

"The Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation highly appreciates the spirit of cooperation of enterprises, has accompanied the serious implementation of labor laws, created many good models in caring for workers' lives, thereby building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations" - Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh said.

Ms. Linh hopes that this movement will continue to spread more widely in the coming year, with many businesses being honored more, for a deep social responsibility and corporate culture: accompanying job security, increasing income, improving working conditions, welfare and spiritual life for workers.

According to Ms. Linh, the honor of "Enterprises taking good care of workers' lives" shows the companionship, respect and honor of the Da Nang City Trade Union organization for the enterprise.

Through this, the Da Nang City Labor Federation hopes that businesses will increasingly take better care of workers, creating motivation for workers to actively compete in labor production, contributing to the development of businesses in particular and Da Nang City in general.
