The An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor said that, implementing the Resolution of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Innovation of emulation and reward work among employees and trade union activities", every year the Provincial Federation of Labor directs trade unions at all levels to deploy and launch emulation movements among union members and employees, associated with the implementation of socio-economic tasks in each industry, locality, unit, and enterprise with many contents suitable to the field and profession.

Emulation movements were launched in many phases to mobilize a large number of union members and workers to actively compete with many specific projects, products, and jobs, practically achieving achievements to celebrate major holidays and important political events of the country and the province. Welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, the Patriotic Emulation Congress and the Trade Union Congress at all levels..., focusing on the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers"; the movement "Good at public work, good at housework"; "Green, clean, beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" and "Skilled mass mobilization in building new rural areas"; movement to build cultural life at the grassroots level; building civil servants and public employees " Loyal, responsible, honest, creative"; implementing and attaching signs to works and products with high practical and applicable efficiency....

Through the implementation of the launching rounds, 3,036 units, enterprises, and establishments, over 48,700 union members and employees registered to participate in the implementation. The Provincial Federation of Labor recognized 598 emulation works and products, the value of which was 16 billion 754 million VND; there were 108,701 recognized initiatives, the value of which was 60 billion 712 million VND, the initiative bonus was 126 billion 867 million VND.

Promoting the dynamism and creativity of union members and employees

Through emulation movements, many collectives and individuals have achieved the title of advanced laborers, advanced labor collectives, excellent labor collectives for many consecutive years, emulation fighters and many individuals have received awards from the Provincial Science and Technology Creative Competition.

There are 2,458 people who have achieved the title of " baguard Emulation Fighter"; Elected 2 Trade Union Chairmen to attend the General Confederation Commendation Conference and 2 Trade Union Chairmen to receive the Nguyen Van Linh Award in 2024; 9 individuals have received the Creative Labor Certificate awarded by the General Confederation; were awarded 15 Emulation Flags, 96 collective certificates of merit, 101 individual certificates of merit by the General Confederation; The Provincial People's Committee awarded 1 Emulation Flag, 27 collective certificates of merit and 50 individuals; the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded 66 Emulation Flags, 1,093 certificates of merit to collectives and 2,353 certificates of merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation movements.

Placing signs for 7 provincial-level projects to celebrate the Provincial Trade Union Congress, the Vietnam Trade Union Congress and the annual celebration of the Vietnam Trade Union Establishment Day. Specifically: The project "Lighting up rural roads with solar lights" in Tan Trung town, Vinh Thanh commune, with a total cost of 280 million VND; the project "Lanterns" at Vo Van Kiet Park, with a total cost of 150 million VND; the project "roads of the countryside in Ham Eo" in Quarter 3, Phao Dai ward and the project "Phuoc Dong bridge" in Nam Yen commune, with a total cost of over 901 million VND; mobilizing union members to participate in the project "Hoa Binh canal dike road" in Chau Doc, with a total cost of state budget investment of 119 billion 771 million VND and the project "Project to upgrade provincial road 958 Tri - Vam ratta" with a total state budget investment of 260 million VND.
