16 individuals in Dong Thap receive the Creative Labor Certificate
Dong Thap - The Provincial Federation of Labor has awarded 16 Creative Labor Certificates of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 16 individuals.
On the afternoon of December 31, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) held the first Executive Committee Conference, summarizing the workers' movement and trade union activities in 2025, and at the same time deploying directions and tasks for 2026.

According to the report, in 2025, the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union has actually increased 11,609 union members, including 112 union members in the informal sector. Trade unions at all levels have established 13 grassroots trade unions in enterprises with 20 or more workers, reaching 100% of the assigned target.
The Trade Union has introduced 1,481 outstanding Trade Union members to the Party for consideration, training and admission, reaching 194.3% of the target. Thereby, 502 comrades were admitted to the Party.
To carry out the work of building the Party organization and developing Party members in non-state enterprises, since the beginning of the year, the Trade Unions at all levels have introduced 58 outstanding union members who are workers to the Party for consideration of admission; accumulated from the time of implementing the Project to date, 131 comrades have been admitted to the Party.
The Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor has also coordinated with relevant agencies to organize 13 legal consultation sessions at enterprises, attracting more than 1,750 workers to attend. The Provincial Federation of Labor's Legal Consulting Office has directly consulted more than 442 union members and workers on regimes and policies related to labor law, Trade Unions, social insurance, unemployment insurance, wages and other benefits.
At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor continues to maintain and replicate the model of Self-managed Workers' Boarding Area. In 2025, 3 new self-managed worker dormitories with 102 rooms were established, attracting more than 122 workers to participate, bringing the total number of self-managed worker dormitories in the province to 91 with 8,272 workers and 63 mediation groups with 365 members. Thereby, promptly informing and propagating to workers about the basic contents of labor law, Trade Union; security, order and traffic safety situation; prevention and control of social evils, methods, tricks and developments of all types of crimes, ... contributing to raising awareness of the law, awareness of crime prevention and combat, ensuring security and order in the locality.
To take care of housing for union members in difficult circumstances, in 2025, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor donated 131 Union Shelters, with a total support budget of 7.49 billion VND.



Speaking at the conference, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - requested that grassroots unions and grassroots unions coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to actively propagate and develop union members. At the same time, coordinate with competent authorities to participate in inspection, examination and supervision of the implementation of laws and policies related to employees at units and enterprises, especially on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui also requested grassroots unions and trade unions to continue to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. On this occasion, authorized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor awarded 16 Creative Labor Certificates from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 16 individuals in the area. Awarding 24 Emulation Flags of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor to collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and building a strong trade union organization in 2025.
