150,000 initiatives benefit more than 5,200 billion VND
In the period of 2020 - 2025, employees in the three localities of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau (formerly) have had over 150,000 initiatives and technical improvements recorded, with an estimated profit value of over 5,200 billion VND.
Harmonizing 3 benefits of State - Enterprise - Workers
Mr. Le Van Hoa - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation - said that in the period of 2021 - 2025, the "Good workers" and "Creative workers" movements have increasingly attracted the response and participation of workers and civil servants, contributing positively to the completion of Ho Chi Minh City's socio-economic targets.
Many collectives and individuals have strived to achieve the titles of good labor emulation, emulation fighters at all levels. The emulation movement has contributed to improving the quality of goods, services, labor productivity, and work efficiency among employees.
In the enterprise sector, the emulation contents and goals of "Good workers", "Creative workers", saving raw materials, fuel, reducing production costs towards ensuring the harmony of the three benefits of the State - Enterprises - Workers, are effectively implemented by consensus and coordination of employers and workers.
Mr. Hoa said that in the period of 2020 - 2025, Ho Chi Minh City has had over 150,000 initiatives and technical improvements by union members and workers in the three localities of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau (previously) recorded, with an estimated profit value of more than 5,200 billion VND. The number of initiatives is not only concentrated in the state-owned enterprise sector, but also spreads strongly in the non-state enterprise sector, industrial parks, export processing zones, service, trade, logistics industries, etc.
The rate of initiatives applied in practice reached over 70%, many initiatives brought efficiency in the first year of application, helping businesses save costs, increase productivity and improve competitiveness.
Focus on rewarding direct production workers
In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation always identifies reward work as one of the key tasks, associated with the implementation of patriotic emulation movements, major campaigns of the Party, State and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Ho Chi Minh City trade unions at all levels have thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented Directive No. 34-CT/TW of the Politburo "On continuing to innovate emulation and reward work", ensuring the principles of democracy, publicity, transparency, timeliness, focusing on setting an example, thereby creating motivation to spread the emulation movement among employees.
According to Mr. Hoa, the results of the past 5 years show that the reward work has had many innovations in content and form, closely linked to the implementation of political tasks of each locality and unit.
In the 3 localities of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau (formerly), trade unions at all levels have awarded and proposed to superiors to reward over 350 emulation flags, more than 25,000 certificates of merit for collectives and individuals, and thousands of certificates of merit at the grassroots level. Many outstanding collectives and individuals were awarded medals, certificates of merit, thematic awards by the Party, the State, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the People's Committees of provinces and cities...
In the period of 2025 - 2030, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation will innovate emulation and reward work, focusing on workers directly involved in production and applying information technology in management to ensure publicity and transparency. Each year, strive to honor at least 50 good workers, recognize 15-20 outstanding initiatives at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor level and 100% of grassroots trade unions to implement emulation movements associated with professional tasks.
