Union members in Hai Phong are supported with funds to build Trade Union Shelter houses

The union member receiving support is Mr. Nguyen Van Chuc, disabled worker of Yazaki Hai Phong Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Japan Industrial Park - Hai Phong).

Mr. Chuc and his wife, Ms. Dao Thi Nhuong, are both disabled workers with difficult circumstances. For nearly 20 years, Mr. Chuc and his wife and 2 young children have had to live in a cramped, damp rented house. Now, with the support from Trade Union levels, relatives, and friends, Mr. Chuc and his wife have built a level 4 house of 60 m2 in Hong An ward, Hai Phong city.

At the family, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation, representative of the Golden Heart Labor Social Charity Fund and the sponsor, Vietnam Industrial Zone Group Joint Stock Company, presented financial support of 50 million VND to Mr. Chuc's family. Hai Phong City Labor Federation also provided additional support for Mr. Chuc's family of 10 million VND from the City Trade Union Shelter Fund.

On the same day, the Golden Heart Labor Charity Fund, Hai Phong City Labor Federation and representatives of the sponsor Vietnam Industrial Park Group Joint Stock Company awarded scholarships to children of workers in difficult circumstances who have risen up in their studies in Tien Lang commune. On this occasion, Vietnam Industrial Park Group Joint Stock Company presented 25 scholarships to children of workers in Hai Phong, each worth 1 million VND.
