Honoring typical enterprises for workers

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the historical tradition of 95 years of Vietnam Trade Union, 78 years of Ninh Binh Trade Union, 30 years of Yen Khanh district trade union. Thereby, affirming the role and position of trade unions in the political system and the spiritual life of workers, officials and labor.

Since its establishment, the Trade Union has continuously grown, making important contributions to the successful completion of the country's political, economic - social, security and defense tasks.

Promoting that good tradition, in recent years, Yen Khanh District Labor Union has always strived to fulfill its assigned tasks, affirming its role as a solid support for union members and workers.

Especially, from the beginning of the year until now, the trade union levels in Yen Khanh district have focused on implementing well the tasks under the theme of 2024 work of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Ninh Binh Province, the Executive Committee of the Labor Federation of Ninh Binh Province and the Executive Committee of Yen Khanh District Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Yen Khanh District Labor Federation has focused on directing union activities in a focused and key direction, focusing on the quality of activities and focusing on the grassroots, meeting the aspirations of a large number of workers, civil servants, and union members.

Activities to care for the lives of union members and workers have been effectively implemented through the programs "Tet Sum Vay", Workers' Month" and "month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene"..., bringing practical benefits to union members and workers.

In the first 6 months of the year, 655 union members, civil servants, and laborers in the district with difficult circumstances were supported and visited. Yen Khanh District Labor Federation has awarded support to build new and repair 2 union shelters for union members in difficult circumstances.

In addition, the work of propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws has been promoted. The work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions has been focused on and directed for implementation. The patriotic emulation movements have been widely responded to by civil servants and laborers, with 298 topics and initiatives registered for implementation, bringing practical results.

On this occasion, 10 individuals who are union officials at all levels in Yen Khanh district were awarded the "For the cause of building union organizations" Medal by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Yen Khanh District Labor Federation also honored 7 typical enterprises for workers and commended and rewarded 22 cadres and union members with outstanding achievements in labor, production and union activities.
