Please tell us that one of Nestle's outstanding policies is its commitment to training Vietnamese leaders. In 2023, at Nestle, the proportion of Vietnamese people will account for 30% of the company's leadership, accounting for 87% in senior management positions and 99% in mid-level management positions. May I ask, how will this ratio change in 2024?
Mr. Le Thanh Khang: One of the special points in developing Nestle Vietnam's human resource development policies and strategies is its commitment to training Vietnamese leaders. Currently, the proportion of Vietnamese people accounts for 40% of the company's leadership, accounting for 79% in senior management positions and more than 99% in mid-level management positions. The policy of nurturing and promoting potential, giving employees the opportunity to become future successor leaders has been maintained by Nestle in Vietnam for many years.
What are the rights and opportunities for Vietnamese workers to become managers and leaders at multinational companies like Nestle? What qualities should each Nestle employee have to develop a rich and long-term career?
Nestle has a specific and clear capacity framework for each position, regardless of whether Vietnamese or foreign. Therefore, for each management and leadership position, both the company and the employees know the criteria for selection and appointment.
On the company side, internal training programs and training programs on career orientation, perfecting the necessary skills for workers in the direction of occupational orientation are regularly performed to help workers improve the necessary skills to perform well the assigned jobs as well as for individual career development orientations. In addition, in recent times, the company has also implemented a series of courses/training sessions to help employees train and improve mental health, emotional balance, pressure management ... This is an increasingly interested content of employees. The company also implements human resource exchange programs among the groups in the group and sends employees to participate in projects abroad to help employees have more experience and improve their working skills in the international environment to return to important positions in Vietnam
On the part of employees, in addition to regularly having the opportunity to share their wishes for career development orientation, employees at Nestle are allowed to participate in necessary knowledge and skills improvement courses to best undertake the assigned work as well as the higher positions they wish to be assigned in the career development roadmap at the company.
It is known that in addition to diverse and rich union activities, the company also organizes the Nestle Innovation Awards and the Outstanding Employee Faces Program (#S parkYouWay Awards). Can you tell us how the above awards affect the emulation movement at the company?
At Nestle, all contributions from employees are recognized. These awards are voted and proposed by employees themselves and the company conducts periodic announcement and awarding (month, quarter, year). Thanks to these recognition and reward activities, employees at Nestle Vietnam always strive to contribute to the company and create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing significantly to the company's positive operational results in all fields.

The "Outstanding Enterprises for Workers" Ranking Program is chaired by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) assigned to Lao Dong Newspaper to implement since 2014.
