Sews-Components Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEWS-CV) currently has about 1,500 employees working in 2 factories located in Thang Long II Industrial Park in Hung Yen province. Over the years, the leaders of SEWS-CV Company have always strived to build a harmonious and strong relationship with the grassroots trade union to jointly carry out the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of employees and union members.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Cuong - Chairman of SEWS -CV Trade Union - said that the company always strives to establish and improve the working environment to ensure safety for employees to participate in production. In addition to establishing departments and safety committees to perform occupational safety and sanitation work, the company also regularly organizes training for all employees to raise awareness of occupational safety in each employee to protect the safety of employees themselves. In addition, leaders also arrange health in charge at the company, sign contracts with medical examination and treatment facilities with sufficient capacity as prescribed, organize periodic health examination for employees with more than the list of examination than the law.
The company also always organizes training activities to develop human resources, thereby always creating conditions and arranging work in the right position and tasks, suitable for employees' abilities so that they can develop their full potential, contributing to the development of the company; organizing emulation and innovation activities in the company to create an increasingly favorable working environment, improving the working spirit of employees,

According to Mr. Nguyen Ba Cuong, since its inception, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union has always coordinated with the company's leaders to fully implement the regimes for union members and employees according to regulations.
In particular, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union has always actively mobilized workers to join the Vietnam Trade Union and is currently reaching a rate of 100% of workers who are union members. On that basis, employees are cared for and enjoy the rights of union members, such as illness, hiatus, holidays, maternity, etc.
In addition, trade union officials also regularly supervise the company's implementation of regimes for employees such as working and rest regimes; participation in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; signing labor contracts; regular health check-ups; sickness, maternity, and occupational accidents regimes; developing, negotiating, promulgating and strictly implementing regulations in collective labor agreements, coordinating the development of labor regulations and salary scales at the company.
Every year, the grassroots union coordinates with the company's leaders to organize company tours for employees during the summer. On the occasion of Lunar New Year, coordinate to organize a year-end party, combine with an art organization, draw prizes for 100% of union members and employees.
In addition, grassroots trade unions also coordinate to launch a creative labor emulation movement for each employee and each job position. As a result, many innovative initiatives that benefit the enterprise have been promptly commended and rewarded by the company's leadership.

In the annual operation plan of the Trade Union, cultural and sports activities are always focused on and are also activities that receive the most enthusiastic and largest participation from union members and employees with the coordination of the Company's leaders.
Among the sports activities, football is the sport that union members and employees enthusiastically participate in the most, the grassroots union has organized an annual football tournament for union members and employees, so the Company's football teams when participating in higher-level tournaments also achieve high results...
The above activities are spiritual dishes for employees, contributing to building strong grassroots unions, increasing labor productivity for businesses, improving policies for employees, creating harmonious and stable labor relations in businesses. Since then, grassroots trade unions have received many certificates of merit from the superior trade union for beneficial activities for workers such as in 2022, collectively being awarded Certificates of Merit for outstanding achievements in the cultural and sports movement by the provincial industrial park trade unions and awarded Certificates of Merit for outstanding achievements in the Program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor" - Mr. Nguyen Ba Cuong shared.
The "Outstanding Enterprises for Workers" Ranking Program is chaired by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) assigned to Lao Dong Newspaper to implement since 2014.
The program selects and honors enterprises that constantly strive to improve the working environment, care for the interests and improve the material and spiritual life of workers, have higher welfare regimes than State regulations, production and business activities are always growing, tax and social insurance obligations are guaranteed to build harmonious and progressive labor relations, aiming for sustainable development in the process of integration and development.
