Caring for union members and workers

In recent times, BIDV Trade Union has always strived to perform well the function of caring for, protecting and encouraging workers to actively compete to strive to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to building a team of cadres, civil servants and workers with good moral qualities, good professional skills, working productively, with high quality and efficiency for the sustainable development of BIDV.

In 2023, the Union supported and transferred support money to 683 cases in difficult circumstances/affected by serious illnesses with an amount of nearly 3.1 billion VND from the State budget. Of which, there were 553 cases of union members, children/husbands/wives of union members suffering from serious illnesses with an amount of nearly 2 billion VND on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, the Trade Union supported BIDV employees with an amount of 13.3 billion VND.

Coordinate with specialized departments to amend the study promotion regulations at BIDV (Decision No. 778/QD-BVV dated August 15, 2023). Promulgating documents guiding the grassroots trade union to implement; Summarize the dossier of rewarding the grandchildren (BIDV's union members) in the school year 2022-2023 according to the new study encouragement regulations. Coordinate with the Finance Board to appraise and submit to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the General Director to reward the children with the amount of more than 2.1 billion dong.

Supporting 1,773 billion VND for social security work

In the 2018-2023 term, BIDV trade unions at all levels have done a good job of propaganda and mobilizing union members and employees and actively participated in implementing social security programs such as flood support, gratitude work, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, health support, education, caring for Vietnamese mothers... with a total amount of nearly 1,773 billion VND.

For the education program and programs for children, the union has supported a total of 505 billion VND. Of which, it has supported the construction of more than 100 schools/classrooms in localities, awarded thousands of scholarships, supported the purchase of training equipment and training management software for educational institutions; supported wave and computer programs for children... sponsored 25,000 pairs of life buoys for children in river areas worth 4.5 billion VND. Awarding savings books to children orphaned by COVID-19 with 2.1 billion VND.

BIDV Trade Union supported the health program with a total amount of 310 billion VND. Of which, 90 ambulances were donated to medical facilities with an amount of 78 billion VND; supported the construction/upgrade of more than 20 hospitals/health stations. Support heart surgery, medical examination and treatment packages, medical equipment, canoeing. Supporting the poor with VND 340 billion...

The grassroots trade unions have deployed and effectively implemented social security activities, gratitude in the locality, from the Trade Union Social Fund and the support of the unit's government. The grassroots trade unions are caring for 45 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; Building more than 700 gratitude houses with an amount of nearly 40 billion VND; participating in supporting people affected by storms and floods every year...
